On Friday, Feb. 14, former Eureka High School standout Cole Koonce’s current college team, the Southern Illinois Salukis, lost 8-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the UTRGV Vaqueros.

The game took place at UTRGV Baseball Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Vaqueros this season.

The Salukis’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 15 at 6:30 p.m. at UTRGV Baseball Stadium against UTRGV Vaqueros.
