Ann Wagner, U.S. Representative for Missouri’s 2nd district, marked Constitution Day and other events in a series of posts on her official X account this week.
On September 17, Wagner commemorated the anniversary of the signing of the U.S. Constitution, stating: "Today is Constitution Day, and we thank our Founding Fathers for all they did to enshrine our nation’s freedoms in the greatest governing document the world has seen. As your Representative in Congress, I will always fight on your behalf to maintain those liberties."
The following day, September 18, Wagner expressed condolences to the Banks family: "Such very sad news. Ray and I are praying for the whole Banks family."
Later that same day, she recognized the birthday of a branch of the U.S. military with a brief message: "Happy Birthday to our @usairforce!"
Wagner has represented Missouri's 2nd District in Congress since 2013 after succeeding Todd Akin. She was born in St Louis in 1962 and resides in Ballwin. Wagner graduated from the University of Missouri with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1984.
