Lafayette Senior High School standout Xander Schmitt’s college team won in NCAA Division I baseball game on Saturday, Feb. 15

On Saturday, Feb. 15, former Lafayette Senior High School standout Xander Schmitt’s current college team, the Kansas Jayhawks, won 12-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Texas A&M Corpus Christi Islanders.

The game took place at Chapman Field. This was their second matchup against the Islanders this season.

The Jayhawks’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 16 at 2 p.m. at Chapman Field against Texas A&M Corpus Christi Islanders.
