Cole Koonce, former Eureka High School standout, played on Tuesday, March 11 in NCAA Division I baseball game

On Tuesday, March 11, former Eureka High School standout Cole Koonce’s current college team, the Southern Illinois Salukis, lost 21-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers.

The game took place at Nick Denes Field. This was their first matchup against the Hilltoppers this season.

The Salukis’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 14 at 6 p.m. at Itchy Jones Stadium against Morehead State Eagles.
