On Saturday, May 17, former Lafayette Senior High School standout Lillian Ware’s current collegiate team the Emory Eagles won 4-3 against the Huntingdon Hawks in the NCAA Division III Softball Championship.

The game took place at Lucinda Samford Cannon Softball Field at 6:30 p.m. and was the third matchup against the Huntingdon Hawks in the tournament.

The Emory Eagles’ next game will take place on Thursday, May 22 at 2 p.m. at The Field of Dreams.
