Ann Wagner marks September 11 anniversary and highlights legislative work

Ann Wagner, U.S. Congresswoman representing Missouri’s 2nd district since 2013, marked the anniversary of the September 11th attacks and highlighted recent legislative efforts in a series of posts on her official social media account.

On September 11, 2025, Wagner reflected on the events of 2001, stating, "It has been 24 years since the horrific terrorist attacks on September 11th, 2001. We will never forget the innocent lives lost that day, and we remember and honor the first responders and all others who stepped up to save the lives of their fellow Americans on that tragic https://t.co/RzlUomMVUw".

Later that same day, she posted about her stance on national security: "RELEASE: Wagner Votes to Restore Peace Through Strength, Bolster National Security, Secure Our Border Read my full statement here https://t.co/JyZTIgpJvI".

On September 12, Wagner shared recognition from Growth Energy for her support of clean energy initiatives: "I was honored to receive Growth Energy's Fueling Growth Award. I’m proud to co-sponsor the National Consumer & Fuel Retailer Choice Act of 2025 and support ethanol, rural jobs, & clean energy for Missouri. https://t.co/aEvcXXsOPm".

Wagner has represented Missouri’s 2nd District since succeeding Todd Akin in Congress in 2013. Born in St Louis in 1962 and currently residing in Ballwin, she holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Missouri (1984).
