Cost of college went up for all students at Missouri Baptist University

Tuition and fees rose 4.2 percent for 2018-19 at Missouri Baptist University, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Missouri students paid $27,124 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $1,104 more than the $26,020 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 277 students received grants or scholarships totaling $5 million and 196 students took out student loans totaling more than $1.3 million.

Including all undergraduates (5,292), 1,531 students used grants or scholarships totaling $20.1 million, and 1,264 students took out $9.8 million in federal student loans.
