12.9 percent of Missouri Baptist University students played sports on university teams in 2017-2018

In 2017-2018, 12.9 percent of Missouri Baptist University students participated in collegiate sports, according to data made available by the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES).

Missouri Baptist University has 4,392 undergraduate students, of which 62 percent are women and 38 percent are men, and a total student body of 5,292 students. Of these students, 415 men and 270 women represented the school by participating in one or more of the sports with teams at the school.

This total does not include students playing intramural sports.

According to NCES, 8.7 percent of students enrolled at institutions of higher education with sports teams were on teams.

The sports at Missouri Baptist University with the most participants are all track combined (121), football (106) and basketball (67).
