Congresswoman Ann Wagner from Missouri has expressed her support for President Trump's recent military actions against Iran. In a statement, she emphasized that Iran had multiple opportunities to dismantle its nuclear program but instead opted for aggression. Wagner stated, "Iran was given every chance to get rid of its nuclear program, but instead of choosing peace the Ayatollah embraced violence and chaos."
The strikes targeted key Iranian nuclear sites at Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan. Wagner commended President Trump for his decision to authorize these strikes, stating they were necessary for American safety and national security. She remarked, "President Trump was absolutely right to send our bombers in and strike the Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan nuclear facilities, and this decision will save American lives and protect our national security."
Wagner reiterated her belief in achieving peace through strength and viewed the military action as a demonstration of this principle. She noted that the operation reflected a shared commitment between herself and the president: "He and I are in full agreement that we must achieve peace through strength, and today’s decisive strikes are a testament to that shared commitment."
In addition to supporting the strategic objectives of the strike, Congresswoman Wagner extended gratitude towards military personnel involved in the mission. She specifically acknowledged those based in Missouri: "I’d like to thank our Missouri-based B-2 pilots, as well as all the men and women of our military who put their lives on the line today." She concluded by attributing today's success to the capability of U.S. Armed Forces.
