Congresswoman Ann Wagner of Missouri's 2nd District has issued a statement congratulating Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey on his appointment as Co-Deputy Director at the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation. President Donald Trump announced Bailey’s selection, with Bailey set to work alongside FBI Director Kash Patel.
"President Trump's outstanding selection of Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey today will strengthen law and order at the Federal Bureau of Investigation and provide much needed support to Director Kash Patel to further advance a return to law and order across the nation. Andrew did an outstanding job leading the Attorney General's office in Missouri, and I am confident he will bring that same passion and dedication to Washington, D.C. As Co-Deputy Director, Andrew will help Kash Patel keep America safe and secure from all threats, while also advancing President Trump's national security agenda. Ray and I thank Andrew and his family for his service to our state, and wish him luck in this next chapter,” Wagner said.
Ann Wagner has represented Missouri’s 2nd district in Congress since 2013, succeeding Todd Akin (https://wagner.house.gov/about/full-biography). She was born in St Louis in 1962 and currently resides in Ballwin. Wagner graduated from the University of Missouri with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1984.
