Ann Wagner, U.S. Congresswoman representing Missouri’s 2nd district since 2013, recently shared updates on her work through a series of posts on social media. Her statements focused on international security discussions in Eastern Europe and bipartisan legislative efforts to support small businesses.

On July 21, 2025, Wagner described her participation in an international event, writing: "I recently returned from a Congressional delegation trip to the annual Dubrovnik Forum in Croatia, where I met with heads of state, foreign ministers, and NATO officials from across Eastern Europe and the Balkans to discuss the serious threats facing this unstable region,".

Later that day, she addressed regulatory issues affecting small businesses in Congress. Wagner stated: "Today I urged my colleagues to support my impactful, bipartisan legislation which ensures that the SEC fairly weighs the regulatory burdens faced by small businesses in its rulemaking. For our economy to flourish, Congress and regulators must ensure that all policies consider https://t.co/ez6aMYMT9S" (July 21, 2025).

Continuing her focus on economic policy, Wagner added on July 22: "Small businesses can’t afford the extensive legal and regulatory expertise that large, multinational firms employ to comply with every regulation imposed by the government. This bipartisan bill directs the SEC to assess the costs of compliance for small and growing businesses,".

Wagner’s advocacy comes as part of her broader legislative agenda since joining Congress in 2013. She has represented Missouri’s 2nd district after succeeding Todd Akin and is known for prioritizing both regional security issues abroad and domestic economic growth. Born in St Louis in 1962 and currently residing in Ballwin, Wagner graduated from the University of Missouri with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1984.
