Ann Wagner, U.S. Congresswoman representing Missouri’s 2nd district since 2013, has recently used her social media accounts to discuss legislative priorities and upcoming events relevant to her constituents.
On July 29, 2025, Wagner highlighted the objectives of the OBBB in a tweet, stating: "The OBBB keeps your taxes low, secures the border, modernizes our military, preserves and strengthens welfare programs, and provides compensation for Missourians affected by radioactive contamination. Read my op-ed in @Emissourian here."
Later that same day, she informed local students about an educational opportunity: "Do you know a high school student that is interested in applying to a military academy? My office is cosponsoring a Service Academy Day on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at the Jefferson College Field House in Hillsboro, MO. The event is from 9:30am—12:00pm and will feature".
Continuing her focus on defense policy on July 30, Wagner wrote: "The OBBB will modernize our military to restore American strength after Biden’s weakness triggered conflicts across the globe. This not only includes better housing, healthcare, and family assistance for servicemembers, but also the development of state of-the-art military".
Wagner has served as representative for Missouri’s 2nd district since replacing Todd Akin in 2013. Born in St Louis in 1962 and currently residing in Ballwin at age 60, Wagner holds a BS from the University of Missouri (1984).
