Washington, D.C. – Congresswoman Ann Wagner (R-MO), Chair of the Financial Services Subcommittee on Capital Markets, released a statement regarding a recent injunction by a U.S. District Court Judge on the Department of Labor’s recently finalized fiduciary rule.

“I have consistently said the DOL’s fiduciary rule was rushed, irresponsible, and harmful for retail investors. It is great news the court stayed this unconstitutional rule and I hope it’s thrown out in its entirety. We will continue to push back against this Administration’s reckless rulemaking that too often hurts people saving for their family’s future.”
