Arthur Bryant, Communications Director for Congresswoman Ann Wagner (R-MO), released a statement regarding the Congresswoman's scheduled surgery.
"Earlier today, Congresswoman Ann Wagner underwent a long-scheduled preventative surgical procedure in St. Louis. This standard abdominal surgery was scheduled during the August District Work period so as not to interfere with her responsibilities representing Missouri's Second District and voting in Congress. The surgery went as planned, with no complications. Congresswoman Wagner is expected to have a full recovery and will be back to work as soon as her doctors authorize it, or she overrules them."
